DO THINGS HAPPEN IN THREES?

Did you ever have a few days where everything happens? Mine happens in threes. You keep wondering what will drop next, don’t you? Today made the fifth thing, instead of three.

Thursday, I was craving Peanut Butter Cookies. This has been a craving for the past three weeks, and it was time to stop the cravings.

The recipe I use makes four dozen, and they are good. Three dozen came out good, and they cooled while the fourth dozen baked quietly in the oven. The timer went off, and I proceeded to drop the fourth dozen in the floor, upside down. There was a large greasy spot in the floor, and the crumbs were there for more the three seconds. I picked up the crumbs (they were delicious) and mopped the floor.

Another craving was for spaghetti. You’d think I was pregnant with all the cravings, but at 84, I’m safe. I have a very good recipe for spaghetti sauce, and it makes a lot. I hadn’t used it in a while, and my bright idea was to make it. It is cooked in the microwave, and it was almost through when I heard a pop and the microwave stopped. It’s gone. We’ll be looking for a new one soon.

We have a security light at the back of hour house. Friday night, it went out. It took me a while to understand why my house was so dark. That’s the fifth thing, and I’m ready for a long time without anything going out, dropping, or going pop.

Hope you have a better week than I have had. I don’t want to hear anymore pops for a long time.
