Eighty-Two and Loving It!

The past month has been exciting. We welcomed a new little girl into our family, our first great-grandchild. Piper Jo was born March 11. She weighed in at 7 lbs and 2 oz. She was 21 inches long. What a blessing she is.

I’m very excited about a new novel I’m writing. The working title is Madam President. I’m sure the title will change. Several authors and agents have seen it and for some reason think it will be good. We’ll see how it goes.

The premise is a woman running for President of the United States, not because she’s a woman, but because she loves her country. It is not a hardcore political book, but a fun book about a woman running for president and running from a murderer. Sound fun? I think so.
