Yesterday we returned from a trip to the northwestern part of America. This was a vacation my husband and I had longed to take, and we were surprised we enjoyed it so much. Each time we saw something nature had created, we were amazed at the beauty God has given us. If earth is this beautiful, what will Heaven look like? It will be much more beautiful than what we have seen around the globe.
As we walked through a visitors center at the Bad Lands, one little boy asked his father about the dinosaurs and the fossils found in the area. The father answered him with a comment about Noah and the Flood. Yes, I do believe the flood changed everything from the way God created it.
Did Noah take dinosaurs on the Ark with him? I think he did. Didn\’t God tell him in Genesis 6:7, So the Lord said, “I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the land, man and animals and creeping things and birds of the heavens, for I am sorry that I have made them.” Since God created dinosaurs, they were part of the creation that would be destroyed, but God had a plan to save the animals he created. In verse 19 and 20 of the same chapter, God told Noah, And of every living thing of all flesh, you shall bring two of every sort into the ark to keep them alive with you. They shall be male and female. 20 Of the birds according to their kinds, and of the animals according to their kinds, of every creeping thing of the ground, according to its kind, two of every sort shall come in to you to keep them alive.
While we were walking through part of the Bad Lands, I was thinking about this and how God saved the dinosaurs. Did God make the fossils look old? Probably. He can do anything. Men do not know as much as they think they do.
When the flood covered the earth, everything not on the Ark was killed. The earth was rearranged to what we see today. God has provided for us a beautiful place to live. I am so thankful I have been able to enjoy so much of it\’s beauty.
