A WEDDING AND A NEW GRANDSON

 

 

The wedding was beautiful, and the grandson came fully grown as a groom. We are so happy to include Henry MacAfee into our family. He is the best new grandson we have.

Our oldest granddaughter, Savannah Turpin, married Henry MacAfee on Sunday, November 1, 2020. The first of our grandchildren to get married, and we couldn\’t be happier. Henry is a great guy, a musician, and a computer guy. He fits in our family well. 

My husband, Jerry, and I went to the Boy Scout camp, Latimer Reservation, in Spencer, Tennessee on Saturday, October 31, 2020. It was a nice fall day with the trees turning and the sun shining. Thankfully, it was warm for the rehearsal. The younger folks dressed up for Halloween, which made the rehearsal even more fun. You really didn\’t know what the wedding party looked like until the wedding. I know I looked at them all a little strange trying to decide who was whom. 

We are so happy for Savannah and Henry. They were married in the outdoor chapel on the Reservation, and it was beautiful. Savannah and Henry are a special couple, and we love them so much. Yes, it was cold. Now our family has increased by one, and there are three more grandchildren to go!
