COVER REVEAL

\"\"Cover Reveals are special, and I have one for my own personal book, Bogged Down by Murder. I am so excited to announce this book will be released August 31, 2020. This is a cozy mystery with a series title, Nothing Shady Ever Happens in Shady Valley.

If you are a writer, you\’ve probably written a book that is close to your heart. Bogged Down by Murder is mine. In fact, the whole series has a big place in my heart. Why? It\’s set in a place I love, Shady Valley, Tennessee. Shady Valley is my husband\’s home community. We\’ve lived there twice, and I\’ve been there  hundreds of times. The people of Shady Valley are honest and hardworking.

It would be an understatement to say Shady Valley is beautiful. It is gorgeous! I have been in several foreign countries and from coast to coast in the US, and I have yet to find a place to compare with Shady Valley. The closest I can come to is Scotland. I find peace when I go there. There is no hurry, hurry, rush feeling like most of us experience. It\’s okay that there is only one restaurant, and you have to travel several miles to get to a good sized grocery store. You learn to get what you need while you are in town.

Here is the blurb.

City girl, Daisy McQueen, inherits her grandmother’s farm in the mountains of East Tennessee, Shady Valley to be exact. Daisy owns a company, Smart Living, that teaches people how to live healthy, and she is used to city life. Shady Valley only has one small store and one restaurant.

Daisy finds a dead body in her cranberry bog, and she is the number one murder suspect. Harry Greer helps her with her investigation without realizing Daisy is one of the richest women in the world with her company, Smart Living.

Hunters are secretly entering her property from the Appalachian Trail at night. Harry wants to protect her, but Daisy wants to teach the people in Shady Valley how to eat and live healthy.

Someone wants her dead.

I love the cover and the blurb. The mountains in the background, plus the man floating in the blog, makes for an intriguing scene. Great job and wonderful premise for a story.
