GETTING OLDER

Yes, I am getting older. Last month, I marked eighty-four years on this earth. My desire is to have a few more years, but who knows? We never know when our life will end. For me, it’s been a good life. We’ve had grief, as most of us have. Everyone has changes in their life.

We must be careful as we get older. Some time ago, my husband and I decided it would be convenient to have our monthly medicine pre-packaged. My eyes are getting worse, and it helped my husband out some.

We found a pharmacy who could do month packages, but I didn’t ask enough questions. I did not check my packages each month. I am too trustful. I’m more careful now.

If you go this route, please check your packages. I didn’t, and I’ve paid dearly. The good news is that after seven months, I’m doing much better. Watch each time you get meds or even cash a check. We have to be our own advocate. Be very careful.

I am finally back to writing. Last weekend, I attended Mid-South Christian Writers Conference and enjoyed it. Have a blessed week. P.S. Sorry about the blank space. I couldn’t get it moved. Also, I hope to write more often, and I’m thinking about a Facebook weekly video.
