Welcome October!

October is here, and I’ve been hard at work finishing Unlikely Candidate. This book has had a lot of titles since its conception. I started out with Madam President, and then there were several more changes. Finally, we have a cover and the title is staying. The theme will be, “Vote Maggie for President.” The rooster? You’ll have to read the book to find out about Clarence the Rooster. The release date will be February 20, 2024. That’s a day after my birthday. I love Magnolia “Maggie” Louise Masters Culbertson. Long name, isn’t it? She’s a smart woman running for President of the United States of America, and she’s full of humor. It’s a little longer than I usually write, but I’m sure one editor will eliminate some of it. I’ve already removed several chapters myself. I will add a page to the website in a few weeks dedicated to Maggie and her run for president. I will also have a Facebook page for my Launch Team. If you want to join the team, let me know. You can leave a comment at the end of this blog. Thanks to all of you who have put up with me through the years. I’m still proud to have reached the age of eighty-two, and I’m looking forward to eighty-three.

I rarely leave a personal note, but my husband, Jerry, will have a hip replacement on Wednesday, October 4. We appreciate all prayers.

Have a blessed day.
