This year came quicker than I thought it would, but it\’s been a busy year. The great thing is that I made it to 2023, and I\’m happy to see you made it as well. Several of you have been with me for a lot of years. I am grateful for your support throughout the years. We should all be grateful for all the trials because they keep us centered. Centered on God and ourselves.
We never know what each day or minute holds for us, but I am blessed by each one of them. You, the reader, have blessed me with your comments. Thank you for sticking with me, and I would like to ask you to stick with me for a little while longer.
Although I am no spring chicken, I still have plans to write more books. I only had one published last year, but with everything that happened with cancer and other things, I am pleased that I got one published. My plans are for three in 2023. One is almost finished and ready for the editor. Two more are in the writing process right now. There is one more in the series, Nothing Shady Ever Happens In Shady Valley. Someone suggested I should write more in that setting. I don\’t know if I can think of more crimes in that area. There are only around 800 people in Shady Valley. I\’ll see what I can come up with.
In February, I\’ll turn 82 and my husband and I will celebrate 60 years of marriage. That is quite an accomplishment. We are expecting our first great-grandchild in March. We have a lot to celebrate in February and March. Hubs and I are thinking of taking a little trip for our anniversary. We will not have a party, but celebrate with family and friends. I married my best friend, and we are still best friends. We have not killed each other yet, but who knows? Seriously, I could have chosen no one better. He is definitely a keeper.
I am ready to get to work in 2023. I can\’t wait to work on the new books more, plus I\’m doing a cookbook for our church. Busy? You bet! Happy? The most I\’ve been in a long time. God has been great in 2022, and I know He will be the same in 2023.
Have a wonderful 2023. Stay safe and happy. Laugh each day and think pleasant thoughts.
