The last two weeks have been busy at my house. We can say summer is finally here.
Last week, my nephew, Jon Galloway, and his wife, Arlene, visited us from Scotland. It\’s always good to see them and we enjoyed their visit. We only see them once every two years. With COVID, they didn\’t get over last year when they had planned. They came in December for his mother\’s memorial service.
The year 2020 was sad for Jon and Arlene. Arlene\’s father died as the result of COVID in the spring of 2020, and Jon\’s mother, my sister, passed away in the fall.
We had a family dinner and enjoyed being together as a family. We don\’t \’have dinners like this very often. It was a fun evening.
Friday, our youngest grandson graduated from Marshall County High School The graduation service was one of the best I\’ve been to in a long time. We have no more grandchildren to graduate high school, but we have one more to graduate college in two years.
My last book is with an editor. Death by Doubloons will release October 5, 2022. I started working on the next book to come out next year, Dead Ringer.
Have a good week. Be safe.
