HE RESTORES MY SOUL

Yes, through our belief in God, our souls are restored. Many times, we all face problems that seem to have no end. We face situations we thought we could not overcome.

When my publisher asked me to put a devotional in this book, I had already written one for a friend. She asked me to write on “contentment”. Where does contentment come from? Contentment comes from the Lord, and the scripture I think of most is Philippians 4:13. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” This scripture has shaped my life. The apostle Paul knew contentment. He knew Christ was with him. The same happens to us. My humble devotional is on page 233. I have learned to be content with what happens in my life.

There are several excellent authors who have devotionals in the book, He Restores My Soul. I’m honored and pleased to be a part of this collection. We learn from each other through their experiences. Some of these authors have battled cancer, or lost a child, or other ways God has affected their lives. God is with us when we need him.
