EIGHTY AND LOVING IT! #9

My old brain was getting mixed up in the number of posts I\’d written. It seems like a lot more than eight, but I guess it\’s not. Since I\’m old I can start numbering my posts whenever I want to. It\’s my world!

Today, we are going to talk about a younger person, author Regina Rudd Merrick. Regina entered my life about eleven or twelve years ago. We\’ve lived in Kentucky for twelve years, and I met her about a year after we moved here. There is a story about our first meeting.

Several authors had met at my house for a writer\’s group meeting. Regina contacted me and came to one of our meetings. When she left, she took down a flagpole we didn\’t like. It was in the center of our drive, and she backed around to leave the house and ran smack-dab into the flagpole. We almost hit it several times, and we were glad to see it go. We have thanked her ever since. We also warn anyone to be aware of her backing skills.

Regina has been my friend since that eventful day. When I was a publisher, I published a set of books for her. She is an excellent author, and she continues to write interesting books. Each of her books get better and better. Did I say she is my brainstorming partner, my friend, a planning committee member at KenTen Writers Conference, and my partner in crime.

Now for the good part. Regina has a new book that has just released, RenoVating Christmas. This is a novella and a prequel to the series. The RenoVation Series is a magnificent series. I\’ve read all of them, and I enjoyed each one. I hope you will check this book out, and the other RenoVation Series books. If you have Kindle Unlimited, you can read the ebooks for free. I love free.

\"RenoVatingSteve Reno lost his wife two years ago and has two grown children, while Roxy Emerson has been alone for over ten years and is a grandmother. They\’re not looking for romance, but when the contractor and restaurant-owner are thrown together at Christmastime, they realize that God does indeed have a hope and a future for them. This novella is a prequel to  Heart Restoration RenoVations Series book 1.

    1. Sorry I didn’t get back until today. Rough day yesterday. I love all of the RenoVation books. I’ve watched you through the years of your writing, and you are a very good author. You have learned from others and applied it to your writing. What else can I say, Writing Daughter?
