PLEASING FAITH

Hebrews 11:6  \”But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.\” 

Our world tells us to not believe in God, but to believe in other people and things. We are told to believe in science, government, and ourselves. The world is filled with people who do not believe in God. How has that happened?

People have turned away from God. They no longer have faith. They no longer believe He exists. They have forgotten to read His Word and attend church services. We have lost our faith. The faith that pleases God.

Each of us have decisions to make each day, but do we remember to put God at the head of those decisions? Do we remember that we have faith in God? Most people will say, \”I can make that decision. I know what is good for me.\” How unwise they are.

What has happened to our faith? If we don\’t have faith in God, we are not pleasing Him. Our main aim on earth should be to please God and keep  His commandments. Although we can\’t see, hear, or feel God, he is there. It takes faith to know that God is watching over us. Yes, our faith wavers at times, but even when mine does, I do know deep down that God is real. I do believe in God, and I know he is preparing a place for me. I know I will see Him, maybe not today but one day.

We should daily seek God in His Word. Study the scriptures and know that God is real. He made promises, and he\’s kept them. It\’s a wonderful feeling to lay your head on your pillow at night and know that God will give us eternal life.
