I do not adjust well to change. I hate it when things get out of my normal routine. If you know me well, you know I am a planner. I keep a calendar of what I have to do each day, and I mark it off as I accomplish each day. I plan in advance. I don\’t like my plans interrupted. But they have been lately.
To my regret I will not be attending the Cranberry Festival in Shady Valley, Tennessee on October 10. My husband and I had really been looking forward to seeing family and friends, but COVID-19 has hit the community. All of my husband\’s family are very sick with it. One is in the hospital with pneumonia brought on by COVID.
How did so many people get it in one small place? Not social distancing at church. I have been slammed on Facebook because I encourage social distancing and mask wearing. Folks, it is very important to do this. If a cancer patient has to wear a mask to keep from getting virus\’, then why do we think we can be immune from wearing one to keep from having COVID? That is crazy. I do wear one, and I will continue to wear one. I don\’t like it, but I\’d like to live a few more years on this earth. When you have health problems, you have to be more careful. I had pneumonia last year, and I have kidney disease. I will wear a mask!
Now, I have a bunch books I need to sell. Watch for a sale later this month, if you order directly from me. I need to get rid of them as soon as possible. I will put a sale on in the next couple of weeks. This will work out.
One last word and I\’ll be through. Thank you all for the nice things you have said about my sister and my memorial to her. The family and I appreciate it so much. That was another change I was not ready for.
Be safe. Pray this COVID will be over soon, or as much over as it can be.
