This is a new blog, and I thought someone might want to know who I am, and how I tick. Friday\’s will be more about my family and myself, so here goes.
Some things you might not know about me.
- I love music. Mostly all music, but I love instrumental and Celtic when I work.
- I love my Scottish heritage. My maiden name is Anderson, and the Anderson clan lived in the Highlands of Scotland. They were associated with the Ross clan and have the same tartan. To me, it is the most beautiful tartan with blues, yellows, reds, and greens.
- I have tasted haggis, but it\’s not my favorite. They even have a vegetarian haggis now.
- I have been married to the same man, Jerry Cretsinger, for fifty-seven years. Wow! I don\’t know how he put up with me for that long.
- I gave birth to three children Diane, Larry, and Genice. Genice passed away in 1975 due to a hospital accident. She was six years old.
- We have five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Love everyone of them. The oldest, Dawn, is our step-granddaughter with three children. The other four are Savannah, Chet, Josie, and Grayson.
- I have a digestive problem, and I do not eat red meat or pork.
- I am gluten intolerant. It\’s sad because I love bread.
- I have four books on the market, with another one releasing in August. The first three are under my pen name, Katt Anderson. The last one is under my real name.
- I was a publisher of Christian fiction for eight years. Started it at age 71, after I retired. I am now retiring for the second time. Not really retiring, but writing and publishing a few books for several authors we kept when we sold the company.
- I enjoy helping authors.
- I love the beach, and I\’m anxious to go again. Our place is Tybee Island, GA. We love it there.
- I am a Christian, and have been since I was 10 years old.
- My favorite holiday is Christmas.
- My least favorite holiday is Halloween.
- I have climbed a lighthouse or two.
- I love to get up early in the mornings. I do not stay in bed unless I am sick.
- I attended Freed-Hardeman University.
- I grew up in historical Rogersville, Tennessee. Davy Crockett\’s grandparents were one of the first settlers and were killed by Indians. They are buried in Rogersville.
- I love anything history, including the Bible.
That\’s about all there is about me. Live\’s pretty simple. I\’m thankful God has granted me my life so far, and I pray I can enjoy life for a few more years.

Climbing a Lighthouse is one of my recently acquired goals.:)
I’ve climbed St. Simons Lighthouse in St. Simons, GA several times. Diane had an experience once when we thought we saw the ghost of the lighthouse, Freddie. I don’t believe in ghosts, but that was one strange experience. I’ve also climbed Tybee Island Lighthouse in Tybee Island, GA. It is a tall one. It is quite an experience to climb a lighthouse.
